When the legislative session stated, two of the bills I was most looking forward to seeing passed were HB1377 and HB1347. As the legislative session draws to a close, what I hear from Bismarck is that these bills may be sent for "study."

As citizens of Junction City, Kansas, we, Tammy and Jake Robson, feel that the Geary County Animal Shelter, located in Junction City, acted unfairly and took inappropriate actions upon discovering that our family pet had been picked up by animal control and adopted out. His name is Mojo and is a full blooded American Bobtail cat. He is dearly missed and has been our beloved family pet for years. We would like to see Mojo returned to his owners and actions taken to prevent future incidents from occuring.
