United Animal Nations invites you to join an exciting new community-based literacy program: the Humane Education Ambassador Readers (HEAR). The HEAR program helps children explore the human-animal bond through stories and discussion. HEAR volunteers read to children in schools, bookstores, camps, libraries, after-school programs and other settings, then lead discussions using professionally developed Discussion and Activity Guides that comport with curriculum standards. If you like reading to children and care about animals and want to promote compassion and kindness, consider joining our HEAR volunteer corps!
