Myrna Bandiola is a 40 year-old mother of seven. Her husband is a farmer. Her eldest daughter Ma. Rosemarie stopped schooling after graduating from her secondary education. Her second daughter Kristine, and third son Eduardo, are already in secondary school. Mea Vita and Sharmie Zandra are in elementary grades while Verna Cattlia and Edmer still need to be fed. The couple's income is not enough to sustain the basic needs of the family.

Myrna heard about ASHI (Ahon Sa Hirap, Inc.), who provide loans to the poor, from her friend. She was motivated to join and she got capital to start a business. She applied for a loan to buy assorted foods for her variety store. She hopes that, with her new venture, she can save enough money to support the needs of her seven children. She dreams of expanding her store in the future through the able support of her husband.

She is very grateful to the lenders who will support them in achieving their dreams.

I've been trying to get a job since the day I turned thirteen, and so far I've had four fruitless years. I think a vehicle might expand my job-searching horizons, a vehicle might give me shelter on those cold, cold, winter nights, and most importantly, I plan to paint my vehicle. Someday I plan to take my vehicle to Venice, where I will live, selling beautiful things.
Obviously my future plans require a vehicle. :DD
