Walmart needs to stop selling them for profit because no one overseas their care properly. It's inhumane treatment in the name of profit. Shame on Walmart!!!! Read more »

We the undersigned humbly request that you consider adopting a rescue dog as a playmate and partner for Bo Obama.  It is estimated that for every animal purchased from a breeder or pet store, 800 dogs die in shelters nationwide.

Your administration's commitment to positive change has had a huge influence on millions of Americans.  By adopting a shelter dog, we believe that you will inspire many other Americans to do the same.  As you once stated, the way that we treat animals reflects the way that we treat each other.

Thank you for taking the time to considering opening your heart and home to an animal in need.  We believe that you will find that the rewards that come along with adopting a shelter dog are priceless, and hope that you will consider our request with all of the sincerity and earnestness with which it is intended.
